Weimar Academy, a division of Weimar Center of Health & Education, is a private Christian boarding high school, supportive of Seventh-day Adventist beliefs and doctrines based on the inspired writings of Scripture and Ellen White. We express this support through personal lifestyle choices coupled with a positive attitude toward the organized church.
Student life at Weimar Academy is part of a total learning environment, with careful attention given to a balance of study, work education, worship and nature oriented recreation. Our goal is to make a major impact in the lives of our students and to be a positively influential Christian school.
Nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains, we are located halfway between Sacramento, California and scenic Lake Tahoe. Behind the main campus stretches more than 400 acres of forest with 14 miles of hiking trails. The campus is ideally located for off-campus school activities such as campouts, hiking, backpacking, rafting, skiing and snowboarding. A field trip to the California State Capital is just an hour's drive away.
